Car rental terms and conditions

Please, read the following information on car rental terms and conditions which come into force during the car rental period.

Car rental rates
If the car is rented without a chauffeur, the rates include cost of lubricants, maintenance, compulsory third party liability insurance and CNC insurance, but exclude fuel. “Per day” rates are based on a 24-hour period of car usage. If the rental period prolongartion has not been preliminarily rpovided for, the customer who is 1 hour late to return the car, has to pay the next day rent. In case the customer would like to prolong the car rental period, s/he is obliged to inform the car rental company 6 hours prior to the expiration of the rental period. In this case, hourly payment is available. In case of long-term car rentals (longer than 1 month) discounts are provided.

The Customer’s responsibility
According to Renral Agreement the Customer is responsible for a theft, window damages, fire and other damages to the vehicle or prpoerty placed in it, caused by the Customer or other persons. The Customer is also responsible for technical and functional condition of the vehicle during the rental period according to Insurance Contract, Renral Agreement and User Manual.

Damage, loss or theft waiver
An option, that if purchased at an additional charge, eliminates Customer’s responsibility for damage to or loss/theft of a rental vehicle. The waiver amount is fixed and regulated by Renral Agreement.

Damage deposit
Damage deposit amount depends upon rented vehicle model and is paid by the Customer at the moment of signing the Rental Agreement. The deposit is returned to the Customer immediately after rented vehicle return to the renter.

Age restrictions
The minimum age of the Customer shall be 21. The Customer should show his/her driver's licence, which has been issued no less than two years ago, his/her passport as well as the documents specified below. The driver's licence must be valid on the territory of Ukraine.
The minimum age of the Customer using Premium class car shall be 25.

Foreign drivers
All foreign driver's licences, meeting the requirements of the International Convention on Road Traffic, shall be valid on the territory of Ukraine.

Fuel
All vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel and should be refilled prior to return to Rubikon2.

Cross border travel
The rented cars should not leave the territory of Ukraine.

Penalties
In case of loss of driver's documents or and car keys, the Customer shall pay a penalty of EUR 300.

Attention: Customer’s actions in emergency situations
The Customer should always immediately call the police / State Traffic Inspectorate and inform the car rental company in the following cases:
•        car accident or damage to the car;
•        personal injuries or material damages to the third persons;
•        suspicion of car theft, car theft or car parts theft.

 To rent a car, a Customer should meet the following requirements and show the documents  listed below:

Ukrainian citizens:
1.     passport;
2.     identification number card;
3.     driver's licence;
4.     age: 21+;
5.     driving experience: 2+ years;
6.     damage deposit depending on the car class;
7.     credit or payment card*.

Foreign citizens:
1.     travel passport, departure card;
2.     internal passport of the Customer’s country;
3.     driver's licence;
4.     age: 21+;
5.     driving experience: 2+ years;
6.     damage deposit depending on the car class;
7.     credit or payment card*.

 * - The credit card shall make the car renting procedure simpler and quicker.
